MARINE BUOYS

Since 2023, we have initiated activities in the area of measuring sea parameters and meteorological measurements conducted at sea. In this scope, we design, create, install, and operate coastal and marine stations for measuring hydrodynamic parameters of the sea, physicochemical measurements of seawater, and meteorological measurements. Our stations are fully autonomous, equipped with their own power supply and GSM or satellite communication. Data is transmitted at least once a day and is accessible through any web browser. In the implementation of marine projects, we collaborate with the Institute of Water Construction of the Polish Academy of Sciences, with which we have signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

WAVES AND OCEAN CURRENTS

We designed and built a measurement station equipped with an ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) sensor, which allows for precise monitoring of ocean currents and wave parameters. The station has an autonomous power supply system and transmits measurement data to a server every hour via GSM or satellite communication.

SEA LEVEL & METEOROLOGY

We created a coastal station equipped with redundant measurement systems: a hydrostatic probe and radar. The station also has sensors to measure basic meteorological parameters such as wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity. Thanks to photovoltaic panels, the station is fully autonomously powered, and meteorological data as well as sea level information are automatically transmitted every hour via the GSM network.

PHYSIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF SEAWATER

We have developed an autonomous station for continuous measurement of temperature and electrical conductivity of seawater at various depths. Based on the collected data, salinity is calculated using the Fofonoff and Millard procedure. The station can also be equipped with other sensors measuring physicochemical parameters such as dissolved oxygen, turbidity or pH.

MINIMIZATION OF MEASUREMENT DATA LOSS

We utilize modern technologies to ensure high-quality services and security. Each station sends data at least once a day, covering a range of service and diagnostic parameters. This allows us to continuously monitor the operational integrity of the stations and often take preventive actions in the event of potential failures. We make every effort to minimize the risk of losing measurement data.

We work with a marine workboat, flying drones, and underwater drones, as well as a team of professional divers. These resources enable us to effectively install and maintain the stations on an ongoing basis.
